Does anyone how much a membership at VA costs

Particularly intererested in the club at N1 City

2 years ago I paid R320 for a national membership
 
See they want you to go in - so that the 150kg ripped dude can tell you about the amazing once-in-a-lifetime special they're running just for the next two days and gently "persuade" you to sign that debit order form :D

Check gumtree / other forums' for sale sections - there's always someone who wants to sell their membership - I'd rather suggest you do that then you're not stuck with a 3yr membership, only the remainder - so you can opt out early if you need to...
BTW the national membership is R110 per month additional then you can go to any branch
 
Yes check Gumtree, mostly PF but you get VA as well for sale. Just be careful with PF, they charge R750 to change the contract from person to person! But then again I got my PF for R150 per month, just had to pay a once off for the 2 years contract, but it worked out to R150 per month.
And dont just sign anything because its on special or some or other bull story!
 
I went to visit Virgin Active in Centurion on Tuesday and one of the trainers there was like the joining fee special "ends today", according to him the joining fee special promotion is R75, but R600 normally. He wanted to sign me up and became totally disinterested in assisting me after I told him to give me a few days to think about it. I also want to join a gym, I can't jog in this weather. The air is thick and my throat hurts after jogging. So joining a gym is my only option. I was told that a 1 year membership at Virgin Active is around R350 a month. My question is are there any other (hidden) costs that I should be aware of?

Yeah, its R350 a month - if you pay it upfront using your credit card.......

If you were to actually pay per month using a debit order - you will most likely be paying more
