Virgin .... ARRRGGHHHHH!!!!

Freaking hell! Is anyone else having issues with trying to connect to the net on Virgin Mobile?? I have been battling for over a week now on 3 different phones. I tried to use the Virgin Services menu to send me the settings, but I have tried about 4 times and I am STILL waiting for the settings.

Calls to their call center are still unanswered!

I hate Virgin so much right now, so much right now ... Im sure there is a song in there somewhere?
 
Yip Have been waiting two weeks for settings.

When phoning the helpline, there is some message that get played ad nauseam about the upgrades to their network, and how all billing/subscription/package changes etc are now only going to go through at the end of every month. Maybe this affects their data settings too, though it really shouldn't. Either way, I'm not impressed. Data charges have also gone up to 60c/meg:(
 
I haven't used VM in a while. The service just aint what it used to be...
 
On Virgin you get what you pay for - 60c/MB versus R2/MB. I extremely seldom use data on their network.

As long as you stick to calls's and SMS's, no probs!

It was the same with McDonalds. When they first opened, the service was awesome because all the Americans were here training the local staff. When they left, service went down the drain and today, we've grown used to it!
 
Yup same problems here. I'm beginning to regret getting that contract. Looks like I'm going to have to dig out my old vodacom sim if I want internet these holidays... :(
