As I have realised. I have applied to have have my number transferred to 8.ta and the process should be complete today. Been with Virgin since 2008, and I can honestly say they are now dying a fast and painful death. I keep getting an SMS that says I received R10 free airtime because I have used R30 airtime. Then I check my balance, and there is no sign of my free R10. And they STILL only offer EDGE. And now over and above all this crap they don't even support the BlackBerry service. Virgin Mobile, you guys are the most pathetic mofo's in the market, and you will die. My prediction is that within 6 months Virgin Mobile will be no more. Sentech MyWireless all over again.
 
And to make matters even worse, it seems as if Virgin is now DELAYING my number's transfer to 8.ta. I'm waiting and waiting and yet nothing is happening. :mad:

Be prepared that people on VM won't be able to contact you (sms or call) once you have ported your number :)

This has happened to both friends of mine who ported from VM as well lol
 
What I just got a new contract with them for the blackberry and now they don't even support bbm :mad: Fark so now I must spend R60 airtime with vodacom...great.

It would appear that they do do BBM and Blackberry now :)

I have just signed up for a contract. Does anyone know if the internet traffic is included?
 
Yeah got my sim activated today. Pretty sweet deal but this is the third sim card they had to give me
