I recently got a new Virgin Mobile SIM-Card, RICA'd it, and got R50 airtime.

I try to re-charge, and it says there's a problem, so I call their help-line (123)

I get told the RICA'ing is still "In Progress" and will take about an hour.

I subsequently try to recharge every 30 minutes, getting the same message.

I eventually get an "Incorrect Number entered" - So I try again.

I now get the following message when I try to recharge (Letter for letter, space for space)

"Sorry, you have been locked. You can not make any recharge.Cell C, the power is in your hands"

Looking closer at the recharge slip, it seems the final "3" had a printer-error line down it, making it look exactly like an 8 (Need to look closely)

- - - - -

To conclude:

1.) I got blocked because I tried to recharge too many times and failed, since I was not RICA'd.
2.) "You can not make any recharge" - Engrish, or Zingrish (Zulu -> English)
3.) "Cell C, the power is in your hands"
3.a) I am not with Cell C - Virgin Mobile are therefore advertising Cell C
3.b) The power is NOT in my hands - I can not use a brand new SIM-Card, and have a useless R50 VM Recharge Voucher >_<
