Hi guys,

Has anyone had any experience with Virgin? What's their network and customer service like? Looking to get a LG G3 for R399 pm- with R200 airtime and 1Gb pm. Great deal, just wondering if it's worth it, if their network is terrible

thanks

They are a VMO and hence run on the Cell C network. Just check out there tariffs as they might be much higher than the market at the moment.

Well in this particular deal, you get R200 airtime, and the call charge is R1.75 pm. Which means you get about 115 minutes, plus the 1gb data. So I think it's better than any other deal available

As long as you're informed you should be fine.

If you have good Cell C signal you will be hundreds.

I have had 2 virgin contracts for quite a few years. Haven't had much issues network wise, and they are nice and cheap. What ticked me off about them is when they closed up almost all their stores, I don't like waiting 7 days for a new phone if I am getting it on contract. Lately, they also lack the latest devices.

They don't have LTE, which isn't the biggest issue for me. I suppose waiting a week when it's only once every two years isn't that bad. I agree, they don't have many options phone wise, but they do have the LG G3 for a great price, which is the only reason I'm considering them.

1GB data for the 1st 6 months.
Can figure out if its 1GB data per month for 24 months, with additional 1GB data per months for the 1st 6 months, which will make this a pretty sweet deal, or only 1GB data for the 1st 6 months and there after 0MB.

It says 1gb per month, and then 1gb extra for the 1st 6 months. So 2gb for the 1st 6 months, and 1gb for the remainder of the contract. I think
