Virgin Network down I think

Yep, it's FUBAR ..but if you're exceptionally fortunate you just might be able to receive incoming calls. Actually, in one of the (very) few times I was able to get to *snort.scoff.sneer* "sort me out centre", I heard the pre-recorded message about some network upgrade nonsense; sadly, I got to hear this while driving AND looking for a building so I wasn't able to apply sufficient attention to really get it clearly.

Still, you too can get endless hours of entertainment trying to get through to 123 to find out what's happening!

I asked an in-store assistant (seemingly high up, by his interest) in the Sandton City shop: this network upgrade of theirs has knocked all ported-in numbers for a loop. Which means that, he said, around 95% of Virgin's client-base (who are ported-in numbers) currently can't call or sms/mms out - TIA brother ...TIA!

F@#$ing Virgin. If only I could say I'm surprised... Can't wait till my contract expires and I port elsewhere.

Just got a sms from them.
All I had to do was manually input the Virgin Mobile Settings on my phone, and Voila!
On my Ericsson, it was as simple as going to my Virgin Mobile organizer and downloading the settings again.
Hope this helps.

Mine started working on its own. Had to do the manual selection of Cell C to get my moms virgin working.

Mines working fine but acting stangely.

Last night I was uploading photo to Facebook via Virgin on the laptop and run out of airtime, checked and I only had 22c left from the R35 I purchased earlier in the day. This afternoon I purchased R15 and loaded it and the messege I got was R15 airtime loaded and Balance = R25,58. That was strange, did this happen to anyone else?
