Since we pay so much for cellular data how about VM and Sir Branson using some of their connections to get us access to a news server. It doesn't have to be local unless that will save some money. As long as it's not crawling I won't complain. :)

First you enter the news server address and the username and password if required. Then you add a news category like alt.binaries.models and the program will then look for what is available in that category and on that server which you can then download. News servers can contain from hundreds of categories up to in the hundred thousands and have retention ratios from a few days up to six months. There are a couple of free ones you can google for to check it out but they aren't of any use really.

I won't be downloading more than a few hundred megs per month instead of the 10GB+ a paying service normally includes which is why I would like it included with my data price. They can even limit it to a VM connection like Vodacom limits their speed test in which case we wouldn't even need a username and password or need to subscribe to it.
