Virgin Port blocking?

Hi,

I friend of mine has got himself a motorola gprs modem and is on the virgin network.

As much as we try we cant connect to his company VPN through Virgin mobile.
If I use my vodacom 3G on his laptop, I can connect straight away.
My only theory is virgin is blocking port 1723 (the routers VPN port)

Any body know whats going on?
