Virgin Voice Mail Quality - Network Differences

Are there differences in the quality of voicemail across networks. I've had now about 10 messages on Virgin where the number left was virtually inaudible.:mad:

OK, my hearing isn't perfect, so does this happen to you? Does/should the handset make a difference.

Also the messages don't hang around for more than 2 days or so. Are they cutting corners by using heavy compression to try and squeeze in more messages? I know my European phone accounts have voicemail that lasts longer and is clearer, but I can only have a limited number (less than in SA).

How is it possible that Sir Richard Branson and his Virgin Voice company have apparently utilized a copyrighted and trademarked name of another company?
This company is called Virgin Voice and is a Caribbean magazine also known as www.virginvoices.com

Can someone explain this? Can Branson's solicitors or his market research firm explain this?
