Virgin & Voice Mail

I ported to Virgin from VodaCom last year, and never had any problems. Come April, and none of my diverts areworking, thus nobody is able to leave me a voice mail message, and the GPRS network is never available! :sick:

Virgin is blaming my ported number, and cannot get to the bottom of this.

Is anyone experiencing similar problems? Any suggestions?

CellC to Virgin Porting Problems

Hi, any luck with Virgin yet?

I have had a similar problem. I ported from CellC to Virgin on 10th Jan 09. The number was ported successfully, but not the voicemail. If someone calls my number and gets diverted to voicemail, they get the CELLC voice saying "this number does not exist". Also if I dial 121 for voicemail, i get the CellC prompt even though my number is now with Virgin.

I have called Virgin "customer support" more than 20 times with no luck. I have now sent an email to ICASA to see if they can help.
 
I resolved my issue by cancelling by Virgin Contract and taking out a new contract with MTN. Good luck!
