Beijing - Millions of Chinese computers may have been paralysed by a faulty anti-virus update from Symantec, the world's largest security software provider, state media reported on Thursday.

ROFLOL! Yea, that is a big 'problem',lol. AVG had a 'update' problem a while back that also disabled/broke the AVG Resident Shield and Firewall. But users affected with this was just the ones who Upgraded from AVG7.1 to AVG7.5 and did not do a 'clean' install. It was not such a big deal realy.

I can fully agree with your Norton Statement. I see it as a pest. The other companies have never given me grief, because I didn’t let them. I use MyBrain AntiVirus - Human edition (Updated 24/7/365) in cooperation with AVG.

Nod32 hands down is the best, rated top for the last 12 years.... once you go Nod32 you never go back.....
