I now understand the utter frustration other have with the Iburst accounts department. I have become overdue on my monthly subscription and to settle things I want to pay it with my credit card, but this is too difficult, they must now change my payment method to credit card but then I can't again pay with EFT wtf!

We are in the 21st century, accepting a credit card over the phone is possible... I've done it elsewhere.

My subscription/debit order with Sainet was cancelled as it was linked to a credit card. They now make me manually EFT them the cash each month. They could debit me at the start, instead I just pay them on the last day of each month. 30 Days interest for me- stuff them.

Got the same problem with landlord- Faircape. They transferred their banking story to FNB, who also don't accept debit orders against a credit card (WTF??). They too now need to be paid via EFT. Frikken troglodytes.

Named and shamed.

Nooit - I prefer to pay people as soon as possible. Keep as little as I can in the bank for fear of more charges... Interest? Let me know the bank please!

I wonder how much of this is caused by the banks, forcing this policy... or the companies that have their accounts at said banks.

I'm with Mastercard but have also just been smsed to say I will be cut off for non-payment?
What is going on?????

hey that's nothing try to use there website to top up your bandwith if you can get them to accept your cedit card your are blessed, everytime I had to top up I had to throw it on next months subscriptions, which is actually scary because you never know what the hell they will charge you

Recently I couldn't get the website to take my CC - that's why I bought on account...
