Visa on Arrival Ghana

Hi all

Has anyone traveled to Accra, Ghana from South Africa recently and gotten a visa on arrival?

What was the process like? Is it a hassle or is it better to get a visa beforehand?

I fly out on the 17th so time is a bit limited.

The embassy here says it's not accepted so don't try an on arrival visa. Pm me sir
