Visio question

hi,

I have this visio database model from which I want to generate a DB script to create a database.

well it seems that there are 2 errors in the model, there are apparently 2 invisible connectors in the model and visio won't generate anything unless I fix them.

Now I have no problem deleting those connectors, but how do I select them? They are not visible and I cannot find how to get to them, I have their names though

help please

I dont understand are you generating an erd diagram?

it is a database model diagram, with tables and connectors

I solved the problem by selecting everything visible and copying it to a blank database model

now I have another problem, visio doesn't seem to generate SQL compatible with mysql 4.x, it generates types like LONGVARCHAR, which do not exist in mysql

obviously MS doesn't want you to generate scripts for other DB than mssql

and yes, I have selected ODBC and the Mysql driver when generating the script, and it still didn't work ...

Yeah I have been having a problem with parameters going into a MySQL DB from C# MS wants you to use MS products I guess
