Vista and mic issues

Anyone else having problem with the mic working on vista it works in skype and msn

I believe there is some problem with BF2 and using the audio conectors on your sound card/mother board.

Im running Vista 64 and my mic is fine. I use a usb converter thing though.

You basically just plug your Headset into the converter then plug it into usb and it works fine.

I got mine with some Logitech headset that I have.
I will ask a friend of mine using Vista and a normal headset to come have a look here.

Most of the BF2 players pass by there every now and then.

i actually found my sound being louder on vista,, than xp did

I fixed it .... found that you could enable the mic connector's on the mobo by interfacing with the external input device.


I wans't pressing "b"
