Vista Instalation

Man im having issues installing Vista its get all the way to Completing instalation then it hangs, or i think it hangs,like 10 to 25 min. Just parks cheesy, but when i move the mouse it lags behind, can any1 p[lease help?

Im have formatted what not but still nothing from fresh install.

What are your system specifications? Does it meet the requirements?

Where exactly does it "hang"? At a black screen, or when it's testing your system?

2 gig ram
6800 core 2 duo
8800gts 640
80 sata

Its just parks at the completing instalation. the 3 dots flicker and its goes only that far.

Does it always take very long to install or what?

The 3 dots become lots of dots, like this .......................................

It progresses . . . . . etc.

Just leave it completely, it will complete installation. I don't know these new processors that well, but I do know I usually disable Hyperthreading on a Pentium 4 to install Xp or Vista as it goes smoother

let it go ...be patient...dont worry,when you run vista you gonna need patience..
