I need help , Installed Nero 7 Essentials which I got with the DVD Writer. It did work perfect.
Then I updated to Nero7 Premium . Uninstalled the light version, installed the new
Version and I'm getting the Nero Star smart menue but only the Frame, inside the frame my Desktop background,
but no menue. Any help is appreciated. I wrote to Nero ,but got the usual answer automatic.
So do I 've to wait or are somebody in the forum who know's?
 
Yes it is 7.8.5.9 the latest version installed it the day before
yesterday & uninstalled it.
 
I reinstalled the light version and it worked, but now
the funny thing is that I upgraded the essentials this
morning. It worked and I tried the diff. colors and all of
a sudden I also got my background from the desktop,
no menu anymore. I can still change the color of the frame
but to reach a program I'll have to execute it from windows
 
Performance settings messed up IMO. I'd set the performance settings for vista to BEST PERFORMANCE and try again. Have you updated Vista recently?
 
Thanx a lot I changed the Performance setting to best and see the Nero screen appears within the frame. Only looking now at the forum , I see the Characters a bit dizzy
Anyhow I'm very happy that it made a difference and is working know
 
Where do you change the performance settings? ;) :p
 
I used the control panel maintenance then system and selected left performance
setting. But I also received a answer from Nero support. Stating to set my
character size from 120 dpi to 96 dpi it also worked. According to support it
will be fixed in the next update. I've got a 22" wide screen and 120 was just right.
