vista problem with going back to desktop

i have searched google but found nothing helpful

problem:

you know when push hold windows key and press d to drop back to desktop, it no longer works and i cannot for the life of me figure out where i can fix it

in the left corner bottom of the screen see if there is 2 computer icons.The first one is desktop and the second is 3d visual of open windows.You must set it there i think via right clicking and drop down menu

naaa it was my g15 keyboard it switched from monitor to joystick wtf that means

When its switched to the joystick its in gaming mode. In gaming mode it disable the windows key since switching causes some games to crash.
