Has anyone downloaded the Trial for VS2008?

I want to try it out but it's a bit too big,for me, to download.

Can I ask why you'd want VS2008? Is there something you can't do with Visual Studio Express?

VS2008 is the next REAL major upgrade. Among other things it supports javascript debugging and intellisense. It has native support for AJAX in ASP.NET, and the ASP designer has been much improved. Anybody who's ever worked with VS2005's designer will know that it's a piece of crap, the new one however is more what you see is what you get.

It also features A LOT of language enhancements for C#, VB.NET and managed C++, which includes (among others) Linq and Dlinq.

It also has some proper extensions for SilverLight and comes with .NET framework 3.5.

And these are only a couple of new features. VS express will be able to do some of these when they realease a VS2008 express version. But for now, you have to use the betas to play with these new features.
