I think you need to load the firmware on the root of the unit then remove the USB cable and reconnect it to your TV set and reboot the unit , but be careful make sure that it does not switch off for any reason while it is updating your firmware on don't reset it , otherwise your unit will become an expensive external hdd , The unit should once completed reboot itself
