VLC on iOS gets support for Chromecast

VLC has updated its iOS app to version 3.1, adding several new features – including support from Google’s Chromecast device, MacRumors reported.

This means that iPhone users can now stream video from VLC to a screen with a Chromecast on the same network.

Did they fix the shared folders being empty on the Apple TV? This is the main reason I don’t use VLC.
