VM sim problem...

Hi

I have an interesting (!) problem with my VM sim card.

I cannot get a usable PPP connection at all. My other VM sim in the same phone works fine. The non-working sim card was fine until the VM network outage on Saturday, and it's been flaky on GPRS ever since (It works fine on voice).

The non-working sim has a number that was ported from Vodacom towards the beginning of the year. Might issues with the MNP database or something be behind this? VM customer service has been -no- help in this....

Any ideas?

Get your simcard swopped, i heard of people having issues using 64K sims and upgrading to 128K sims

What are you using to connect?

I don't believe this 64k/128K theory holds unless you have a specific data card.

Naah. It's definitely not device-specific. I use both a Falcom Samba GPRS modem and a Motorola V360 (unbranded).
