VMCOnnect does not Launch

Hi. I have the following problem and wonder if anybody can assist.

When clicking the Vodafone ICON the process does not start. I have re-installed the software and have the same result. The VMCONNECT and WLANCLIENT processes do not start. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Environment is Windows XP, The card states: Vodafone Mobile Connect HSDPA/3G/EDGE/GPRS data Card. (This did all work till about 10 days ago, I then started using the Wireless connection through ADSL at home)

i had the same problem. press ctrl alt and del. in the task manager look under processes and start stopping one at a time. I had one that said fixcamera. after stopping it my vm worked.
Hope this helps. I was told that it is a conflickt problem

Thanks, do you maybe know what the conflict is. Somewhere I think there is a way of showing what process is using what...I do not have fixcamera and there are tons of processes running.

I found a process CameraFixer which I stopped. Vodafone then launched. Thanks, this has helped. I did some further searching on the WEB and found lots of hits for Camerafixer. I installed a WEBCAM a couple of days back and this might be for the WEBcam or it could be malware. I have scanned for malware and CameraFixer did not show. I hope my Webcam works now that the process has been stopped.
