Hey guys, whenever I install VMware my routesentry goes ape, I know VMware actually installs virtual vmware adapters, what sort of work arounds have you guys found?

Thanks in advance

Regards.

Saff.

No I still want to be able to use RS in my current OS, just seems that when I install VMware workstation that the virtual adapters it creates screws with RS?

Check to see if the VMware Service for DHCP is disabled.
Possible reason

saffakanera, are you using RouteSentry in your host OS and then as soon as you open your VM your routing gets messed up in your host OS?
I'm using Ubuntu 9.10 as my host OS and then I was running Windows XP in VirtualBox as my guest OS. I've bridged my Local Area Connection in VirtualBox with my eth0 (LAN) in Ubuntu. Then I can use RouteSentry from within VirtualBox to split my traffic :) Ofc I have to enable ICS in Windows XP and change my Ubuntu's default gateway, etc.

If its just a RouteSentry issue, you're welcome to try out my app for Splitting Traffic in Windows: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=201023
Its still very much in Beta phase, but it should work in cases where RouteSentry normally doesn't.

If you could maybe give more detail on exactly what happens, I can try to help you out more or even modify my app specifically for your need.
