Hi all

I need some step-by-step help

I have the original TELKOM POTS marconi router which supplies internet access to the network via the single login PPPOE setup.

The router is plugged into a switch and the computers connect from there ...

The clients IP addresses are fixed as follows:

192.168.10.xxx
Default gateway 192.168.10.200
The DNS is 168.95.1.1

Now if I wish to access the client PCs from home via VNC on port 5800 how do I do this with regards to port forwarding on the router ...

I've tried everything the previous posts have recommended but still have had no success. Please help ... step-by-step would be greatly appreciated :-)

p.s. previously each client initiated their connection via a PPPOE dial-up in Win xp. Since Telkom limit the number of logins, this was changed to the router supplying the net access. VNC used to work with out an issue before this change.

This is from memory so I may be a bit off on names etc..., adjust where needed :)
On the ADSL route go to "Virtual Server" in there is the options for Low Port, High Port, Remote Port, IP Address.
In Low Port, High Port and Remote Port put in 5900
In the IP Address field put in 192.168.10.xxx
Click Submit, then save and restart the router and done
