Vodacom’s big story is data

Vodacom has grown its data revenue in South Africa to R13.6 billion, with a big increase in the number of smartphones and the data consumed by these devices.

It shouldn't really be a surprise that data is getting bigger.

That OOB shark however is having a feast.

One can almost open an OOB trauma counseling center.

There's just a major gap in prices with regards to contract and prepaid atm with Vodacom.
I would of expected to be able to buy 1Gig for month at R60 in this day and age, without having to commit to a contract or to put forward a big sum.

They still need really giving much.

I agree data is the way forward, but I'm still not sure we're where we need to be yet. I'd like to see soft-capped bundles, so you could buy a gig and instead of being charged astronomical rates after the gig is up, just slow the data right down.
