Vodacom!!! 2 weeks and counting

Switched to Vodacom 3G about a month back.

I wanted to purchase additional data bundles but thier online software just downgraded me, to the 500M option.

I contacted their support 2 weeks ago, it still hasn't been sorted out.

They instead blither on about, they cant find my info and they need me to fax them this and that.

VODACOM YOU OR YOUR REPS HAVE THIS INFO, GET OFF YOUR LAZY BACKSIDES AND FIND IT YOURSELF!

I travelled 15km to give you this info, if you cant find it, then thats your problem...NOT MINE!!!

They will send you email after email, about how they are upgrading your service request, but NOTHING ABOUT THE PROBLEM.

I have come to the conclusion that it is;

Not possible to purchase additional data bundles, or it is a deliberate ploy to make it such a difficult process, that you end up paying the R2 per Megabyte rate.
 
Well, I upgraded to a 1gig account over the phone just the other day, they say it will be implemented at the beginning of June, they sent us an SMS and email saying that is has been processed and will appear end of this month. Fingers crossed, but I think that it is now the computer at Vodacom that handles the upgrade further after the people have put it through.
