Vodacom 4g plus ???

Am just being told that Vodacom doesn't have 4g+ but only 4g,am like but i was getting 4g plus on telkom and mtn sims.

I don't think a carrier needs to support Carrier Aggregation for it to work, just your device.

Vodacom most certainly do support 4G+ See below. It might be that your device does not support the correct LTE Bands for CA.

On my Samsung A73 5G are displayed most of the time and sometimes shows 4G+ - I guess it all depends on your location and device. Also check your device Mobile Network settings are set to LTE/4G/4G+/5G etc

Yooooooooh did I make a mistake when I saw my 5G sign for the 1st time...
Here's a top tip: DON'T run a Ookla/Speedtest.net speed test on your device unless you have a large chunk of data loaded...+-1Gb/s connection speed is fun but man alive does it hurt your data

I am seeing 5G more and more now on my Vodacom phone. Vodacom definately actively expanding coverage. Started getting 5G a week or so ago in Parkhurst. Just outside my garage I get 5G....but when I go into the property it goes back to 4G+. Guess the higher frequency for 5G does not penetrate.
