Vodacom airtime expiring - How to use

So I checked this morning and saw that between my 2 kids they have R1000 airtime expiring on Friday.

I tried to see if I can enable in app purchase but it gave an error when I tried to set it up on the iPhone. Is it suppose to be able to handle it? Is it maybe just a feature that Vodacom need to enable?

Other than that what options is there to use the airtime instead of losing it?

I can use Vodacom airtime for Google services related payments and did not have to configure or ask Vodacom to configure anything..

Buy data and then hotspot the phone so every device can use the same data.. Pretty much the only other thing you can do really..
