Vodacom: am I going Crazy?!

My Friend...

Vodacom the past several months (even before severe load shedding ) has be unbearable!!

- Drop calls
- little to no throughput on data (Instagram, whatsapp, Tinder, Windy TV, Garmin Connect - List goes on, all slow and struggles to load )
- hideous call quality
- USSD timeout
- Vodacom app crash
- 22 miss calls on my phone just for today (yesterday was 17) - people text me and telling me when they call they get one ring then dead, and all I see is a pop up saying miss call
- unable to make calls on first try numerous times

I work in Stellenbosch and live in Kleinmond. I find this issue in:
Stellies
Gordons
Somerset
Strand
Kleinmond
Oudthoorn
Goerge

is it just me?
I have been to Vodacom several times - they resorted my phone (and lost my backups as well) and "defaulted" my SIM - whatever that means. They convinced me that is must be my phones (iphone 6s plus and Huawei p10 ) so I got a iphone 8 now and still same issues.
