Vodacom and CellC Rip Offs

Good day All

I have been billed more than what I signed for by both Vodacom and Cellc. Been transferred within the call center is a frustrating effort with no actual results. I' am certain that I' am not alone with this experience. Totally unsatisfied and restrained consumer in South Africa.

Provide more details, how much more is more? Just the first month or many months?

This also happened to me last year on MTN, my contract bill just increased one random month...

Apparently it is legal for them to make price changes stated in the terms and conditions that we never read...
“In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and MTN’s subscriber agreement terms and conditions, MTN will give its subscribers 20 working days’ notice prior to effecting the price changes for contract customers,” it said.

However, I haven't heard about any increase for this year on CellC and Voda though.
Could be just you? :wtf:
