So I'd like to know why if anyone knows, Vodacom bills prepaid airtime on an emergency number.
Had my car breakdown in the middle of nowhere and had to beg for airtime to phone for roadside assistance cause I'm broke.

Ethical or not?

@HartsockZA -NO it does NOT if dialing 112
Dialing 112 from any mobile phone on ALL NETWORKS is TOLL FREE on ANY package (Prepaid, Top Up/Hybrid and postpaid) etc,etc..!!!!
Calling from ANY OTHER Number and you WILL BE BILLED.

But to know to dial 112, that's the problem. It's a different case had I known but if they keep it from public light... absolutely absurd if you ask me.

@HartsockZA - Let's end the "ping pong" on this forum.
The NATIONAL 112 Number has been part and parcel of the Mobile phone system SINCE inception of the service WAY,WAY in the past in the RSA.
Do not know where you were to not know this.
