Vodacom BIS Activation

Upgraded my contract to Blackberry yesterday. How long does the BIS take to be active, or is it only done at month end?

Also, do I need to change the APN to blackberry.net?

It depends on who is working with your account. Mine was activated within 2 hours. My wife's BIS was activated almost instantly. A friend of mine waited almost 2 weeks.
You can cahange the APN yes.

When did you apply for BIS.

Activate it via vodacom4me.co.za and it should be up and running asap.

Once the BIS service is active on the VC website do I need to do anything on my phone? I've seen with 8ta that the phone needs to be switched off and on again.

It is just till end of the month. Then switching this to PAYG on 8ta. It is a 8250 so no 3G in any case.
