Hellooo! I recently purchased a prepaid Vodacom 8520 for my Grandmother. 
Unfortunately my Grandmother is getting 1 bar or NO reception at all, where she lives and was advised to switch to MTN. She's tried using an MTN phone and has had great reception so far.
I'd like to know whether her 8520 has Vodafone software, and if I purchase a MTN simcard for her, would the Vodafone menus still show up on her phone (that is if there are any Vodafone menus in the first place)?
