Ok, So my curvey 8310 was given to my GF as I got a Bold. It was dropping calls and not holding signal.
It was delivered personally by her to Vodacare in Canal Walk on the 5th of Jan. She was notified the phone was repaired and could be collected.
She went into collect the phone and guess what it didn't work and was not tested!
She was assured she would get a replacement phone from Vodacom today is now the 29th of Jan and we are no closer to a resolution. After contacting Vodacare myself today and speaking to Amiena I was told there is no stock of a replacement. I then requested to speak to someone who handles the JHB queries and was put through to Bronwyn who could offer me no information other than there is no stock.
So, we are now going to be charged R70 for a service we did not use this past month and are constantly being shunted from pillar to post. For those of you who own a Blackberry you will understand what it is like to not have your device.
Sadly I have just taken out my new contract with VC and received my Bold I just hope I do not have the same problem.
Now I am holding for JHB a VC after being told my Vodacare Canal Walk to call them only to be told by the call centre I cannot speak to them as they do not take calls.. Thelma in the call centre tells me she can help after requesting to speak to a supervisor.
