Vodacom, can they do this ?

<snip>vodacom she has to pay, got treated like a criminal and the number is deactivated. so they take the money, but the balance of the airtime is lost ?
My hate Vodacom list is getting quite damn large.
Lets see;
- the meerkat advert spam
- sms spam with invisible opt-out terms and conditions
- the ludicrous price of sending a couple of bytes of data (SMS)
- expensive voice services
- no itemised billing on certain products
- the massively overpriced expiring data
- selling out to Vodaphone
- invisible community programs
- participating in interconnect-fee collusion
and now, badgering grieving widows.

Why does it seem to me that the list is getting worse ethically as time goes on?

Well, I am not really surprised about this. What do you expect from a company that spams their own customers?:mad:

What I don't get is why they think this makes business sense?!? Trying to shake the last few pennies out of a dead person, and in the process alienating several living persons??? Who is the brain dead person at Vodacom who makes these policies?:confused:

Well I was about to change from Vodacom prepaid to a contract with them but yeah no chance of that happening. MTN will get my business instead.
