Why does this number cut off after 4 minutes of holding on

I cancelled a number earlier this month but never received an SMS confirming it as promised so I want to be sure its cancelled effective 31 May.
It took about 5 calls earlier this month before someone picked up before it cut off, now another 3 calls this morning only to be cut off each time

Can maybe Ockie or VData confirm if its cancelled for me?

The Cancellations department for VC is painful to deal with I agree!! Had endless headache when I cancelled my last contract.
