I have a question - 3 years ago Vodacom came and installed a mobile repeater in our ceiling as we complained that we had poor 3G and HSDPA signal. The situation did not improve. I found out today (3 years later :wtf: ) that this repeater amplifies GPRS and EDGE signals only - hence why our 3G signal did not improve!

Here is the product: http://www.remotek.com.tw/R19B-GD.htm

Anyway - anyone know what the rules are regarding ownership of this thing is? We signed nothing at the time, and it didn't work anyway for our purposes. Does this belong to us, or to Vodacom Networks?

If anyone from Vodacom checks this forum, please let me know.

Cheers.

wow. brutally honest. unlike me, who if in your position, would have cracked that puppy open a long time ago.

Since it uses Vodacom's frequencies on the repeated side, it would be illegal for you to own it and operate it.
