@Ockie Vodacom spun off all its towers into a seperate company called MAST, I believe their intention is to clean up the assets and the balance sheet and then sell it. Exactly what Vodafone did in Europe, they spun off their towers into Vantage Towers, Vodafone took the company public and bought in €2.2 billion in 2020 from doing that to service its debt.
All Vodacom infrastructure requests go to MAST first before any other players, but to be frank, its circus over there at the moment.
And also I firmly believe that Vodafone is amalgamating its African Operations portfolio for a future sale of all the groups assets in Africa.
