Hi all.
Not sure if this is the right category for this post, but giving it a try anyway.
Currently staying on a farm in the Koo valley (Rural Western Cape), about 40km from Montagu, although there is no cellular signal here, further up the road, where the farmowner's elderly parents reside, (same property just much further away), they usually have some signal, the eldery lady has a mobile broadband, and family pay for her data, but to use it, it has to be mounted quite high up, but it usually works fine.
These are old people, who are isolated, and was told that people were worried about them, and asked the farm owner to check up on them, it was then when I was informed that they can't get the internet, so when I went and had a look, I could see that there was no signal. I even climbed up on the roof, and walked around the perimeter of the house to test, and nothing. I was told it had been off since Thursday. How would I be able to get this to the attention of Vodacom, so they can have a look?
I hope this isn't a case of lockdown cable shopping.
Thanks
