Vodacom connect port 1000

I have suddenly picked up an issue when connecting to a site on port 1000. If I connect from a Vodacom connection, I cannot get through (I have tried my router - unrestricted APN and a regular phone hot-sot). If I try from a MTN connection, I get through.
This was working from Vodacom until this afternoon.
I am using ssh -p1000
Has anyone else picked this up?

I have specific ssh connections open on port 1000

Update: As of this morning, the connections are no longer blocked.
