Does anyone know if its possible to add an apple watch as an add on to a Vodacom contract after the contract has already started?

Yes you can. However not all Vodacom staff knows how to do it.

I'm assuming there is no point in waiting for black friday if I'm eyeing the new iPhone?

They will break down the cost into the amount of months left on that contract. Let's say you have 20 months left of the contract and the item cost R2000, they will deduct R100.. unless they add interest..
