Any help or advice would be much appreciated:

My wife is on a very legacy Vodacom contract that has long expired. I am keen to move her to a powerflex as she doesnt need more than that as a lite user.

Question:
Will cancelling her current contract default her to Vodacom prepaid? Can I then migrate her to a Powerflex package seemlessly?
Alternatively, can she port to MTN superflex once she is on prepaid i.e. the contract is cancelled?

Getting this info out of the mobile operators is near impossible so any advice would be appreciated.

thanks in advance

If contract has elapsed it is now a month to month so no penalties.
I had this recently and all was good to switch over

Thanks very much. So its all good to just migrate to one of those options ie powerflex or superflex?

I phoned up and asked the lady to put me on pay as you go but she asked me questions of what all I wanted and in the end it was just 1GB WhatsApp I need coz every where I go there is always wifi.

In the end I am on a 1GB WhatsApp month to month contract with CLI for only R26/month.

Phone them and ask them what your options are

It is explained in the T&C page of Powerflex and Superflex

  1. Existing Prepaid customer will not be allowed to FREE- Change from their existing prepaid price plan into the Vodacom PowerFlex price plan

I am on another network, can I join SuperFlex?
Yes, you will first need to port your phone number to MTN. Once the port in process is complete, you can use your number to join SuperFlex.
