Vodacom contract on Pension no go

Hi,

Vodacom says you cannot take out a contract if you are not employed. I.E If you are on pension you are stuffed, anybody know anything about this?

Can buy a house, a new car, but not a R150 p/m vodacom contract, WTH!

This must be bs. My mom is a pensioner and she has a contract at Telkom. Cant see that it will be any different at Vodacom. Go to a different Vodashop. Must be incompetent staff.

No you can. As long as you can show that you do have monthly income. They will look at your 3 month bank statements and as long as you are clear on ITC and Experian etc with money coming in and money going out of your bank account, you should be fine. I did my mom's contract for her and she was approved on the system immediately and she has not worked for something like 30 years.

You can get approved but on a very low credit profile.

For Situation like this you wish you could just prepay your Vodacom contract. Only applies to Uchoose options of course.

And it was on a low priced contract we first applied for. R200pm

My gran is 73 now and she took out a new contract earlier this year. I smell lazy.
