Vodacom contract options

I'm in need of some advice

Currently I have 2 vodacom contracts

1. Primary number.

Smart S - 75 min , 200 meg + R1 GB (R49 promo) bill = R300-400
Contract expired last year already.

2. Flexi 200 expire Jan 2018. - use for data mostly =R200


Whats the best contract I can consider, I'm trying to reduce my overall monthly bill

I had a look at the Smart more data 2GB, which should be fine on the data. Without device R259.

Even canceling the Flexi contract? Or migrate to something

There aint any new phones on the market that I like.
 
How about this suggestion.
1) Keeping your primary number as it is an open ended contract.
2) Add a nice LTE Router with a Multi-Data SIM linked to your Primary number.
3) Add the required Add Hoc Data bundle size to this primary number.
4) Connect your Tablet/PC to Router.

The benefits are.
1) One data source for more efficient management eg Out Of Bundle Shark etc.
2) No confusion between SIM use with one line/SIM account.

Future Upgrades using my suggested setup.
Request the Vodacom Shop person to use their Deal Creator sheets if you require a specific device instead of those book deals.

Just a Add-Hoc 2 GB Bundle Monthly reoccurring to your primary number!! Result is one line with benefits.

At less than R150 on telkom for 2gig, Ditch vodascum and their overpriced oob shark syndicate

If you upgrade or take out a new vodacom contract, quote the 50GB special from MTN and they will give you 20GB every month for 24 months.. not sure how many extra minutes you get.. but 20GB data is not bad too..

When i spoke to the consultant at the vodacom 4u store, i quoted the 50GB MTN special.. he said they will assign 20GB data every month for 24 months.. AT NO EXTRA CHARGE..

Its not something vodacom is advertising as far as i can see, but u can get it.. The store i got my info from is at Gateway, Durban.. Vodacom 4u

Any1 in Cape Town that is aware of this? Do the Vodashops / 4u honour ths deal?
