Vodacom contracts without phone?

can anyone point me in a right direction where i can get cheap contracts that dont come bundled with phones? i remember some time ago seeing weekender packages without fones going for R30 odd. i'm looking for weekender s or the lower end talk packages, that cost below about R300. turns out i'm getting ripped off on prepaid as i'm quite a heavy user

You can get cheap weekender contracts with "older" phones. Ask in Vodacom or check online at vodacomdirect.co.za see if they have anything for you. Either way it is a saving.

I did see a R135 airtime for R55 a while ago, and Elitemobile has a few "no phone" options - typically a R111 saving on R319 contract.

Get a 4U contract at one of the 4U shops. It's a month to month contract with no monthly subscription and no phone. I've got one and use it for 3G/HSDPA data.
