Vodacom coverage in Stellenbosch

My son is starting at Stellenbosch uni next year and I want to make sure he gets decent mobile and data coverage. Does anyone know what Vodacom's coverage is like on campus?

Also, what data options do they (Stellenbosch Uni) cater for students - is there Wifi? Is it available in the dorm, at lectures, around campus? What does it cost?

Yes there is WiFi on campus. Don't think you can use p2p though, most unis block it, so no WhatsApp.
