Anyone else having issues?
From woodmead to bryanston yesterday 5 dropped calls.

See a lot of people on Facebook also complaining.

But hey kets give free stuff to ur customers.
Fix your network. Bloody idiots.
Also 3G no wait EDGE is useless today

Me too. Clearly not. Oh well contract is over soon. I hope. As I say I would rather pay cheap prices and have *** than pay top dollar and you can't even complete a Damn call on the major highway with my hands-free kit

FTFY

:D
But seriously I have never had so many dropped calls before, maybe Jannie is trying to piss me off? :D

lol....now I have a picture of Jannie in front of his 51" monitor connecting and disconnecting you going "tehehehee.....ja ja....vat so Mnr #######....jou klein bogger"

But seriously now though, I cant give a opinion on dropped calls while driving as I very seldom actually take calls when I am driving. The few times I have done it I have not had a dropped call yet. What I can tell you is that when I was on Cell C I was pulling my hair out. Data connection on my phone was almost useless and I would sometimes have to dial a number 3 or 4 times before it would connect. Then once connected the call drops after a few minutes and the process starts again.

I had a doctor last week asking me to please port him back to Vodacom from Cell C because he actually cant use the service. He cannot afford to be cut of on this kind of frequent basis or be unreachable because calls are not being connected to him due to Cell C. Spoke to him on Monday to check how things are going and he said he is ecstatic. Yes, Vodacom is not perfect, but the vast improvement in the quality of service on network side is remarkable.

I am not that far from Woodmead. I live in Wendywood, well, till Sunday anyway, and cant say I have had any problems. I think you should come visit me and then we test the service together, but it must be in my bedroom because that is where the signal is a bit dodge for Vodacom and will be the most realistic test ok? :D:D

That is just my personal experience meneer. Up to you what you make of it. But I wont lie to you about my experience with Cell C. I was very happy with their pricing, but had to port away because I just could not take the shockingly bad network anymore. This is a while ago however. I cant speak for recent improvements on their side that might have happened.

don't take crap from them... log a fault at every site that is reasonably expected to have good cover... Don't expect much though - if they don't reply for a reasonable time stop payment and trust me your phone will ring very quickly.

I am still wondering whats up with them promoting LTE devices in their brochures if coverage hardly exists.
