Vodacom data charges and fee problems

My girlfriend has been having some major issues with vodacom and hopefully somebody can assist here.

firstly in May her deposit order went off but returned to her account 2 days later, we were then fined by vodacom due to payment being late and also by her bank because there was a problem with the deposit order. In june vodacom tried to do a deposit order that was absurdly high. When we went to sort it out at a vodacom shop they said that there was a problem and corrected her account, once again we were fined by Vodacom and the bank. Now her account for July shows that she used over R3000 of data which is impossible. confirmed by her phone software. Now they are threatening to cancel her account, throughout all of this so far we have had nothing but mean and condescending reps to talk to and been intimidated into paying.

We have opened a case with vodacom to try and sort this out but still the only way we can keep her phone active is by paying the amount in question, which would be fine, because when they see that they made a mistake again. they can return the amount in question. but the say they cant return the money, only credit the account, which is a problem because people need to eat.

any ideas?
 
Vodacom call centre is useless. Just go straight to hellopeter
 
Vodascum incompetence shines through again.. Congrats on your second post btw.

Seriously, do anything you can to get away from them and get her to a different provider. Pay nothing, they take months to process any credits and by the time that it goes through you'll have gotten twice as many issues again
