I took a 24 month data contract that ends 28 September (just over 2 months) .

Everywhere is directing me to phone the contact center - but so much easier to do this via text for me. However, is there not rather an email address to cancel the contract?

Something I couldn't find online :(

To protect yourself and possible legal action - Send a formal email to [email protected] clearly indicate - Notice of Termination yyyy/mm/dd-ensuring you receive a Service Reference.

Thanks - will do!

Tried 2 stores near me , but they just go to voicemail.

Customer service is terrible with these guys

They try make the process as difficult as possible .

I've sent the email - no reply , just the acknowledgement ...
I phoned numerous stores and can't get through to anyone ...
Eventually went into the store and they have to phone the call centre ?

It sounds like old Telkom days when the retail stores simply phoned the same call centre

@ Dolby - The mere fact you received an acknowledgement is "Prima Facia" evidence of your compliance to the T&C of your contract termination notice, when the bun fight breaks out and when you send messages to [email protected] informing them of impending legal action.

@ Dolby- The important fact is all contracts at Vodacom are "written" therefore it follows that notices should be in writing.
I would Forward your original message to [email protected] to resolve your issue.

I went to Hellopeter and they've done it for me - thanks !
